Mr. Rudolf Wilde

Director

The Scholarship Committee

Land University, CA

Dear Mr. Wilde

As an incoming 4th year college student of this university, I fully understand how important it is to have a complete set of grades so that I can maintain my partial scholarship. However, one week before the submission of the final grades, our professors attended a National Teacher’s Conference.  Although the conference was not planned, it was still compulsory for them to attend but it also prevented me from completing my grades on time.

I know that the committee requires an on time submission of all scholarship requirements.  And I know that this is a difficult situation for you but it is also a difficult situation on my part.  I don’t want to loose my scholarship.  So, I am knocking on your kindness and consideration.  Please consider my case and let me maintain my partial scholarship.  I am willing to visit your office anytime and discuss the matters regarding this issue.

Attached herewith is a letter of explanation from my professor.  Thank you for your time.

Sincerely yours,

Elizabeth S. Hardy

Graduating scholar
