Dear Mr. Wilkins,

I regret to inform you that your proposal on the ‘Save the Sewer’ had been rejected by the Board of Directors.  The members of the Board took careful and thorough evaluation of your proposal and although they are impressed, there are other pressing issues that are needed to be prioritized.

For your reference, our company gives priority over the following issues:

1.Treatment and hospitalization of children with HIV.

2.Low-cost housing for the indigenous tribe in the Far East.

3.Eco-friendly waste disposal and treatment.

4.Save the forest movement.

Although your proposal will benefit many urban dwellers and will help control pollution, there are other efforts that run the same to your proposal.  The city planners and city engineers are doing their job in creating a safer water system and a cleaner sewerage system.  Even recently, their efforts were televised.

Thus, it will be to your advantage if you give further research.  Or you may consider lining up your proposal with our priority projects.

Thank you and God bless!

Truly yours,

Mr. Mary S. Bay
